replier: Muhammad Rizky Can you give conclusions regarding this, I mean is this effective to reducing corona?
Gina Salsabila I think it is too soon to say whether it is effective or not, but by looking at Indonesia's ever so increasing numbers of covid-19 spread, i personally don't think it is affective, as it don't necessarily solve the problem to it's root.

I wanna add something interesting according to gina's explanation how Indonesia's government punish people who don't wear mask. At some region, the government punish the rule breaker by brought them to cemetaries to pray and dig the victim graves. This is really interesting because why the government brought the cultural aspect to punish the rule breaker.

Ratna Kuatiningsari When Covid19 first attacked Indonesia, my country did not immediately make a lockdown policy like other countries. so Indonesia implemented a PSBB (Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar) it means "large-scale social restriction". in this policy all types of political, education, economic, and health sectors change the system 360 degrees. no more face-to-face learning, no more non-food business branches are allowed to run their business. For about 4 months, Indonesia has implemented the PSBB, but the positive number of Covid19 continues to rise due to various factors, one of which is the disobedience of the community towards government policies. As a result of this PSBB policy, many people in Indonesia protested to the government mainly the problem of not being able to eat because their businesses died, around July, Indonesia implemented the new normal by loosening the economic sector more such as malls, entertainment venues, tourist spots, cafes can be opened but with strict supervision of health protocols such as wearing masks, washing hands, and maintaining distance. Even though it is in the new normal phase, the positive number in Indonesia continues to rise. However, with the policy easing in this phase, it can make the community a little more calm because they can run their business for a living.

But, let me tell you regarding the policies of the city government of Surabaya, where I live in dealing with Covid19. But first, I'm sorry I can't share news links in English. I just want to share the official website of the city government of Surabaya to respond to Covid19.
so, I found news that was "Assessed Success in Implementing Micro Lockdown, Presidential Staff: The Handling of Covid-19 in Surabaya is Exemplary", you can see the following link https://lawancovid-19.surabaya.go.id/berita-pemkot/baca/dinilai-sukses-terapkan-mikro-lockdown-staf-presiden-penanganan-covid-19-di-surabaya-patut-dicontoh
in Surabaya, the Mayor of Surabaya, Tri Rismaharini, has very detailed data, so it can be seen which positive residents are in which alleys and which roads. After it was discovered that he was in a certain alley and street, he immediately set up a blockade, immediately tested everything. Residents who are positive are also immediately taken to the hotel that has been prepared or it could be the Asrama Haji Hotel if they do not show symptoms. However, if you show symptoms and there are comorbidities, you should immediately go to the hospital. In the alley or village, spraying disinfectant is immediately carried out every day by motorbike or drone
